Oddfellows - On the Park
If you happen to be looking for a mix of glamour, style and cosiness on a break away, then look no further than Cheadle’s new Oddfellows On the Park luxury hotel, courtesy of reputable hoteliers, Oddfellows.
The £3.5m renovation to the hotel, which was originally a Victorian mansion house, is set within the picturesque surroundings of Bruntwood Park, and is open for business. It boasts 22 bedrooms, as well as 6 suites, a restaurant, cocktail bar, private dining rooms and a spa.
Keen to make use of the building’s history and unique style to inform its new character, Oddfellows appointed SpaceInvader to design the luxury interior. Jonathan Slater, head of Oddfellows, said ‘we’ve always stuck to the idea of a restoration, rather than a conversion of this building. We fell in love with the original features and the fantastic room dimensions and we don’t want to change what is already, in our eyes, close to perfection.’
So how much will a stay in this new, playful, boutique hotel cost you? Double rooms start at £155, which for a hotel in this location, with this kind of unique history, isn’t something to be scoffed at.
